After more than a decade of cooperation, the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina has once again placed its trust in us, with the task of designing, delivering and installing the most modern digital multimedia conference system in their premises.
General description of the system:
The project of the Digital Multimedia System of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina consists of:
Hall 13 – Presentation Multimedia Hall
Room 14 – Conference Multimedia Room1
Room 21 – Conference Multimedia Room2
Translation booths – 4 independent translation booths
Control Room – Master Server Room to manage the complete system
Press Center – Space in the lobby for addressing the media
Digital Signage – Information screens in the lobby connected to a Digital Signage processor
The main feature of the complete system is that all independent subsystems are connected to one main server center (Matrix), which takes control of all equipment installed in the facility. The server exchange is located in the Control Room, from which technical persons manage all events that take place in the facility. This architecture allows any multimedia content to be broadcast on any screen, projector, loudspeaker in the system by simply selecting pre-programmed parameters (presets) via touch-panels mounted in the control room.
The equipment that is installed and that communicates with the server includes the following:
Digital Processors, Computer and Network Equipment, Motorized Cameras, LED Screens, Laser Projectors, Motorized Projection Screens, Conference Equipment, Translation Equipment, Audio Systems. In other words, any part of the system can be independently controlled from one place – from the control room.
The main feature in the technological sense is the automation of any parameters in the system, which aims to make the system easy to use and that only one technician can manage a large number of operations simultaneously. Thus, just with fingertip of the touch panel and selecting a preset, the entire venue becomes active: all projectors are turned on at the same time, automated projection screens are lowered, cameras, conference units, translation booths, audio and video systems are activated. Just one technician can monitor whole event and reacts if specific action is needed during the meeting.
The system is programmable, with a large database of defined presets that can be easily called and through which it is possible to respond to each specific need, which would require a scheduled presentation or conference. The number of pre-prepared presets is practically unlimited and it is possible to make a specific new preset, which would define how the equipment behaves, all in order to meet a specific technical requirement. This new preset is then stored in the preset database and given a name so that it can simply be used again if the need arises.
The technological innovation we highlight and the advantage of this system over all halls in the country is full compatibility with modern Internet Video conferencing protocols: Skype for Business, Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams… We have successfully created a system that allows a complete conference room to be a unique participant in any Internet protocol and to actively participate people who are in remote locations. This functionality is the most modern feature of the system and is among the top in the world because at this time, due to the demanding protocols and parameters, a small number of conference centers have this possibility.
Example of work and basic functions: Representatives of the business delegation of Vojvodina can have a “Zoom video conference” conversation with representatives of the German delegation without the need to be physically in the same room. Also, one translation booth can do simultaneous translation from Serbian to German and that signal will be broadcast live to German participants. Another translation booth can perform simultaneous translation from German into Serbian and this signal would be forwarded only to participants who want to listen to the interlocutors in Serbian. If a video presentation is used on the screens, it is possible to forward the image from any camera in the system or presentation computer to remote interlocutors. All content that takes place in any room is automatically recorded and, if necessary, can be delivered to the media or interested parties.
The system also enables Internet Streaming of a conference event, which can be public or reserved for viewers who have received authorization and parameters for viewing content. The Digital Multimedia System of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vojvodina is composed exclusively of the highest quality equipment in order to achieve the highest possible standards. As the standards improve over the time, this system can be upgraded and thus respond to the highest standards in this branch of industry, for many years to come.
