Festival of Light, organized by the famous crystal manufacturer Swarovski, held from 30 January to 19 February 2017. The world renowned light designer Bjorn Herman created huge light installations, supported by 60 ClayPaky Mythos 2<\/a>\u00a0and 20 ClayPaky Supersharpy 2 fixtures. The festival took place in the Swarovski Crystal (Crystal Worlds) park in Austria.<\/p>\n The creator of this project\u2019s concept was Berlin-based international company StudioNOW, which worked alongside Herman and German art collective phase7 to create an adventure park of sound and light that included the two colossal light sculptures powered by Claypaky\u2019s award-winning fixtures.<\/p>\n This artistic project was backed up by 60 Mythos 2 fixtures with a new and reliable Osram Sirius HRI 440W lamp, which ensures the extraordinary performances that have made the success of MYTHOS worldwide. Mythos 2\u00a0also features a new dimming upgrade, which makes the product suitable for the most demanding applications.<\/p>\n As part of the Festival of Light\u2019s \u201cFantasy in Precision\u201d installation, one of four major installations at the festival, Hermann rigged 20 Supersharpy2\u00a0fixtures to the roof of the four-storey Swarovski Kristallwelten playtower. The outdoor installation was designed to extend the faceted crystal patterns of the tower\u2019s architecture into the sky above. Hermann utilized the Supersharpy\u2019s intensely bright beam, 0\u00b0-4\u00b0degrees beam angle and large 170mm diameter front lens to create multi-layered webs of light of varying brightness, color, and width. The fixture\u2019s super-fast PAN and TILT ensured the beams traveled in clean and precise movements.<\/p>\n \u201cThe central concept of this new event is the magic of crystal, which only fully reveals its alluring beauty in a sparkling interplay with light,\u201d explains\u00a0Stefan Isser, Managing Director of D.
