Grand Casino Belgrade – Reference Project for Audio, Lighting, and Stage Systems Integration
One of the most advanced audio-visual systems in the region
During 2025, Studio Berar successfully completed one of the most demanding and complex integration projects in the field of professional audio, lighting, and stage technology in Serbia. For the luxurious space of Grand Casino Belgrade, our team designed, supplied, installed, and commissioned a complete, centralized system for sound, lighting, aluminum truss structures, and accompanying stage equipment.
High-End Audio System: Power, Precision, and Network Flexibility
Special emphasis was placed on acoustic design and the implementation of an uncompromising audio chain. Following a detailed spatial analysis and the specific requirements of the venue, a solution was implemented based on premium TW AUDiO loudspeakers, Powersoft smart amplifiers, and a Dante network infrastructure, which ensures stable signal transmission with zero latency.
Zone Sound System and Front of House (FOH)
To meet the needs of various ambient zones and the main stage, a carefully selected configuration of the TW AUDiO system was installed:
- Main PA: The innovative ELLA Line Array system ($1 \times 6.5”$ LF | $5 \times 1”$ HF), delivering exceptional coverage and clarity, ideal for live performances.
- Low-Frequency Support: Compact, high-power TW AUDiO B30 subwoofers combined with low-profile B14i installation subwoofers, providing deep and defined bass without compromising the interior aesthetics.
- Multifunctional and Installation Zones: Loudspeakers from the premium C5 series (24-ohm coaxial speakers for even distribution) were deployed, along with powerful M6, M10, and M12i installation speakers.
Amplification and Signal Processing
The entire loudspeaker fleet is driven by next-generation, advanced Powersoft amplifiers with integrated DSP and Dante cards, enabling complete control and monitoring over every channel:
- Ottocanali 12K4 DSP + DANTE – the leading platform for maximum power.
- Quattrocanali 8804 and 4804 DSP + DANTE – four-channel amplifiers dedicated to precise zone management.
Production and Microphone Set
For performers and on-stage production teams, Studio Berar delivered a premium equipment package:
- Midas M32 digital audio console with corresponding stage boxes and complete signal infrastructure.
- Shure SLX-D high-performance digital wireless systems, including SLX-D4Q four-channel receivers, legendary Beta 58 and SM58 microphone capsules, as well as SLXD1 bodypack transmitters and in-ear monitoring systems.
Lighting and Ambient Illumination: Complete LED Transition and Premium Dynamics
The lighting setup at Grand Casino Belgrade is fully based on eco-friendly and energy-efficient LED technology, providing impressive visual effects and durability for 24/7 operations. The project relies on industry-leading brands, PROLIGHTS and CLAYPAKY.
Prolights LED Technology
As official distributors, we implemented the following Prolights fixtures for ambient, stage, and architectural lighting needs:
- StudioCob FC and StudioCob Plus TWWH – powerful COB LED fixtures for perfect color mixing and a defined white spectrum.
- EclPar FC – high-efficiency LED PAR fixtures with rich color rendering.
- Jet Wash 7 and Jet Spot 4Z – fast and precise moving heads for dynamic lighting effects and beam profiling.
- Network Management: Splitter 4wrk and ArtNet Node devices were utilized to ensure stable signal distribution.
Claypaky Premium Bars and Profiles
Due to the specific nature of the space and the requirement for compact fixtures with extremely high performance, premium bars and profiles from the Italian manufacturer Claypaky were installed:
- Volero Batten Aqua: An advanced moving LED bar equipped with $10 \times 60\text{W}$ RGBW LED chips. This fixture offers individual pixel mapping capabilities, an impressive zoom range from 4° to 55°, and ultra-smooth dimming thanks to a 24-bit electronic dimmer.
- ADB Actoris Profile FC: Profile fixtures with advanced LED sources (RGBA + Lime + Royal Blue) providing a perfect color rendering index (CRI-95) and flexible optical ranges of 15°–30° and 30°–50°.
Lighting System Control
The powerful and ultra-compact Avolites T3 console was selected for the central control position. It grants lighting designers maximum creative freedom, speed, and reliability when creating lighting scenes for live events and daily casino operations.
Stage Mechanics and Truss Structures
In addition to the audio and video segments, Studio Berar deployed complete aluminum truss structures from the Prolights brand. The installed structures, along with the accompanying mechanical equipment, guarantee maximum safety, stability, and a high level of flexibility for rigging, positioning, and reconfiguring stage equipment and lighting fixtures on stage.
